| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Review Distinguished by a satin-finish that resembles fine pewter, this stainless-steel flatware pattern contributes a unique contemporary look to any table, casual or informal. Each medium-weight piece balances nicely in the hand, won't discolor even with acidic foods, and never needs polishing. Comprising table settings for 8, the 45-piece set consists of dinner forks, salad forks, dinner knives, soup spoons, and teaspoons--plus a 5-piece hostess set. The hostess set consists of a cold-meat fork, pierced and solid serving spoons, a sugar spoon, and a butter knife. Durable enough for everyday use and attractive enough for entertaining, this flatware is also conveniently dishwasher-safe. --Fred Brack What's in the Box 8 place settings, 5 serving pieces. Each place setting consists of: dinner fork; dinner knife; salad fork; soup spoon; teaspoon. Service set consists of: butter knife; serving fork; pierced serving spoon; solid serving spoon; sugar spoon. 45 pieces total.

No rust for me December 15, 2008 I've read multiple reviews of indicating that theses utensils rust. I've had my set now for over 5 years and I've never had a single one show any sign of rust or discoloration of any kind. Genuine 18/10 stainless steel simply doesn't rust, especially not from being put in a dishwasher. I fear that some consumers may have been victimized by counterfeiters. Fake products out of China and other parts of Asia are nothing new. Cameras, phones, and other higher tech equipment are regularly counterfeited, sometimes quite convincingly. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if some scam artists over there started using pig iron to make fake stainless silverware and inserted it into the distribution channel. They make out like bandits and Cambridge is left holding the bag.
I came here today to buy more of these utensils, but I'm going to hold off for now and do some research into whether there have been problems with counterfeiting.
I don't know about you but I can't rave enough about this set! September 22, 2008 I actually purchased this set from Bed, Bath and Beyond in 2001 and have added many pieces to this collection since! I have what looks like a brand new set of flatware with no rust or flaws. I cannot be happier with this set! I love it, use them daily, have washed them a million times (hand and dishwasher) and plan on keeping this set for many more years to come! BTW, if anyone has a dinner fork and a teaspoon in satin, please let me know as I lost 2 pieces when I moved :( I highly recommend this set for it's beauty, style and durability.
Poor. April 22, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This silverware has a very undesirable 'metallic' taste and gets so stained and rusty it is impossible to clean.
Stay Away.
Hostess Set August 8, 2004 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
I would like to know if I can purchase the "Townhouse" Satin Hostess Serving Set as I just bought the 12 piece place setting for 12 and it did not come with the Hostess Set. I purchased my sets from the local Bed, Bath and Beyond store in Sarasota,FL. Also, I cannot rate your product at this time as I have not used it yet. Thank You for your help. Karen Ruzck
Rusted! February 16, 2003 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I wish I read these reviews before selecting the set (it was a gift). I've had them for two months and they have rust all over! The product advertises "no discoloring" and "never needs polishing." What a lie! I just hope that Bed Bath and Beyond takes them back without the packaging and without the receipt. What a waste of a hundred dollars for the rusty service for eight.
