Healthy grilling indoors January 8, 2009
A friend of mine had one and used it to grill pork chops indoors. I bought one for myself and I use it constantly. I don't always feel like starting the outdoor grill up and I don't trust that I won't lose food through the grates. Grilled fish and grilled cheese sandwiches are my favorites to cook on the pan. Leftover pizza turns out great, too. Just use medium heat until the cheese melts on top. No more heating the oven. I always spray the pan before using it, though it may be seasoned enough now to ease up on that. I bought three more for gifts.

Although this is light-weight, it still has the circulon finish and quality that I love. You can use a lower heat and still get the great grill marks and crust of a grilling. Because it's still new, I don't know how it will hold up with time.

Due to a confluence of circumstances four years ago when I was in the market for a new set of cookware I was able to try out 10" skillets from Analon and Circulon classic. After using each for a few days, I felt the Circulon unit with its' ridged non-stick interior surface heated more efficiently and was easier to clean. After a price check, I decided to purchase the full set. However, when I saw the subtle changes in the beveled interior configuration of the Circulon2 cookware I decided to opt for this set. I have been pleased with performance ever since.
One of the sales points for me was the ready availability of open stock items, including this grilling pan. I also have the 11"griddle, so the biggest decision is which pan will be most appropriate for whatever is my fried item of choice. This pan has the raised grill pattern to allow juices and oils to drain off and not saturate your food. But like other Circulon items it heats evenly and efficiently, is non-stick and a snap to clean. It's a sturdy and durable product, one that will continue to serve for years to come. About the only complaints would be it's nearly impossible to get that striated grill look on your burgers because this pan makes burning or searing a tough act and the dishwasher is a no-no.
If you're not familiar with Circulon, give this pan a try and I would be surprised if you don't end up going out and purchasing a full set.

Love almost everything about this pan. Super easy to clean! Nice weight. Great for grilling. Wish they had soldered their handles on instead of taking the cheap way out and bolting them on. Even my old T-Fal set that lasted me over 20 years wasn't bolted on. But Circulon has been the easiest cookware to use/clean yet. So time will tell about the handles.

Love using Amazon when an item I need is listed. Circulon is not easy to find but Amazon has it all. With the free shipping there is NO WHERE you can find a better deal - and I got it in 3 days! Wow.
