This functional 14-piece set offers a complete array of cookware for the kitchen at a reasonable price. The set includes three covered saucepans in 2-, 3-, and 4-quart sizes; 5-1/2- and 8-quart covered stockpots; 8- and 10-inch shallow French skillets; and a 12-inch, 5-quart covered saute pan. The exteriors of the pans in this set are durable hard-anodized aluminum while a hard-anodized aluminum core distributes heat evenly through the pans without hot spots. Three coats of DuPont nonstick coating line the pan's interiors. Circulon's patented Hi-Low grooves protect the nonstick coating from wear by exposing only a small portion of the nonstick surface to cooking. The result is longer lasting performance and easy cleaning. The 18/10 stainless steel lids are slightly domed to capture moisture when steaming or braising foods.  Pretty nice cookware! January 7, 2009
I bought this cookware because of the great reputation it has and I had one piece of it and I loved it. This seems to be thinner but it works very well. The non-stick properties are wonderful. When I first tried to put the lids on 3 of the pans, the lids didn't fit! As it turned out, the pans were slightly out of round. Because they are thinner than I expected, I was able to press on the sides enough to round them out and the lids fit fine. So...don't use them to pound something with but if you are a normal cook, they work wonderfully!

I have read some of the other reviews and I have to say I'm baffled by them. Granted, I have only had it a few weeks but I love it. It's great cookware, that is functional and nice looking. It does need to be hand washed but that it no problem as we don't have a dishwasher and they are so easy to clean. Nothing seems to stick to them. This set comes with all of the pots and pans any average home will need. I love it!

Please make sure to follow all the instruction on how to clean and use this type of pan because, if you won't; you would mess up the non-stick part of the pan. . Do not put it in the dishwasher and make sure to use wooden or plastic to stir whatever you are cooking in it, because you gonna scratch the surface of the pan if you won't .
 Circulon not good in the long-haul December 22, 2008
I have had my circulon set for about 5 yrs. I am looking to replace it and would not buy it again. The "circles" may say they help in heating, however, in truth, they require more cleaning and sometimes with a brush to get things out of the "circles". As a result of this extra scrubbing, I do not believe the interior finish holds up. I also don't like that the anodized pans can't go in the dishwasher but that is true of all anodized.

I am pleased with the purchase of my Circulon cookware. I can boil water a lot quicker than with my old pots and pans. They are easier to clean.
