Test Procedures Remove the test strip from the sealed pouch. Immerse the strip into the urine with the arrow pointing towards the urine. Take the strip out after 3 seconds and lay the strip flat on a clean, dry, non-absorbent surface. Read the results within 5 minutes. Do not read results after more than 5 minutes. ***Interpretation of Results*** Positive:(+) A rose-pink band is visible in the control region. No color band appears in the appropriate test region. It indicates a positive results for the corresponding drug of that specific test zone. Negative: (-) A rose-pink band is visible in the control region and the appropriate test region. It indicates that the concentration of the corresponding drug of that specific test zone is zero or below the detection limit of the test.

First off, it appears there's some confusion with these that needs to be cleared up for anyone considering a purchase. So, the quick and dirty is: They WORK!! Tested a known positive, and a known negative person, and the test was correct every time.
Where there's confusion is what you're actually getting, and how to use them, so I thought I'd share my experience. First, The picture is inaccurate. The picture is actually showing you the test strip itself, as well as the sleeve it slides into to read the results. You will not be getting the sleeve with your order! You will get 10 test strips (yes, I actually got 10.) This isn't a problem as you're looking for something quite simple: 2 magenta lines means you passed, 1 line means you failed.
Here's how to take the test. Pee into a cup (dixie, solo, etc), tear off some plastic wrap, and lay it on the counter, open the packet containing the individual test strip, you'll see one end in blue with "THC" in small print (hold the strip on this blue part) the other end is white, with a black line saying "MAX". Dip this end into the cup with the urine, up to the MAX line for 3 seconds, then remove, and lay down onto the plastic wrap you laid on the counter (this is to avoid any contamination with the test.)
Now walk away for 5-10 minutes, and look at the flat, plain, white area of the strip between the blue end, and the max line, this is where your results show up. You will see 1 or 2 magenta colored lines going across the strip, parallel with the MAX line. 1 line only = failed test, you are positive for marijuana. 2 lines = you passed! (Even if the second line is very faint, if it's present at all, you passed.)
Hope this helps anyone with questions. I would recommend this test to anyone wanting real results.

These tests work fine and you can't beat the price. Note that they are only for THC (marijuana) and will not detect other drugs. Also note that if the second line appears at all, even if it is only slightly pink instead of dark red, it means your urine is clean and you should pass any drug test for marijuana.

If you are somebody who needs to know I totally suggest this product. As other reviews have said, they don't come the way they are pictured. And if you ask me, even the strip doesn't look the same. Each individual strip is packaged in it's own sleeve, sealed by the manufacturer & includes an expiration date on package. The ones I received have an expiration date of about 2 years from the current date, so you can have them on hand for future needs. There are no instructions....so get them from the reviews like I did & I found it very helpful...thanks everybody. Just dip in up to the "max" line for 3 seconds. Since there is no documentation, I was unsure where the 2nd line was supposed to be (there was a section that looked like a smear & didn't know if that was supposed to be a line). So I got someone who is a heavy smoker & was stoned when they took the test for me & someone I know who is 100% clean so I could see the difference. I got results from immediate to about 2 minutes(negative reading was quicker than the positive reading...I found that odd). I have uploaded a photo to this items page of both tests in hopes it will help someone down the line. 1 line = fail, 2 lines = pass.

This test works as advertised. I was at a probation officers office and they use the exact same test but it is the 5 way version. It is a great thing to have for peace of mind and an awesome price too.
